Full Job Description

As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the front desk. Your role will involve greeting visitors, handling mail, and supporting various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the office., Welcome and assist all visitors to the premises in a professional and courteous manner. - Maintain the visitors sign in app, notify appropriate personnel of visitor arrivals, and ensure accurate documentation. - Keep the reception area tidy, welcoming, and up-to-date with relevant information. - Sort and distribute incoming mail while managing outgoing correspondence effectively. - Support the training coordinator and wider team with administrative tasks - Ensure reception security by following safety protocols and monitoring access through the reception desk and carry out fire alarm checks. - Accept deliveries, sign for supplies, and handle deliveries as needed. - Uphold confidentiality standards at all times. - Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the organization.

Previous experience in an administrative or reception role is advantageous. - Self motivate and able to work on own initiative. - Proficiency in using computerized systems such as Microsoft Excel, Word - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively. - Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Familiarity with data entry tasks and clerical responsibilities. - Demonstrated ability to maintain an organized workspace while handling various responsibilities. Please note candidates will need to have a current valid right to work in the UK to be considered for this role.

  • About Balfour Beatty VINCI Balfour Beatty VINCI is a long-established joint venture between two powerhouses for the delivery of critical infrastructure across rail, transport and other iconic projects in the UK and beyond. We started working together over 30 years ago to deliver the Channel Tunnel, as members of the TransManche Link consortium. In the Midlands, it is Balfour Beatty VINCI's role to design and build the route, ready for tracks and signalling to be installed. Our work with HS2 Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and then on to Handsacre in Staffordshire. Overall, we will be building the following across all our sites:

  • 62 overbridges
  • 35 cuttings
  • 56 culverts
  • 62 embankments
  • 2 twin bore tunnels and 2 cut and cover tunnels
  • 28 underbridges and 11 underpasses
