Full Job Description
Scott Park Surgery has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive receptionist/typist to join our team on a part-time basis, working 15 hours per week. Hours will be as follows:
- Monday: 13:30 - 16:30
- Tuesday: 09:00 - 12:00
- Wednesday: 07:45 - 10:45
- Thursday: 15:45 - 18:45
- Friday: 08:30 - 11:30 It is essential that applicants are able to work on these specific days and times, so please only apply if you are available at the times stated. This role plays a pivotal role in the experience of patients at our practice, helping them to access the right services and dealing with their queries face-to-face, online and by telephone.,
- Typing referral letters and medical reports.
- Answering calls and making appointments.
- Greeting and directing all patients.
- Issuing repeat prescriptions.
- Filing and data input.
- Advising patients of practice procedures.
- Registering new patients.
- Accurately maintaining patient database and records, photocopying, filing and scanning.
Scott Park Surgery is a small-sized surgery looking after 2,700 patients. We are a friendly team with a supportive group of clinicians and admin staff.
