Duties will include updating patient management systems, answering calls and greeting patients/relatives, preparing notes and supporting the nursing team with all aspects of ward administration. If you feel you have these skills and would like to join our team them, please apply., To provide an efficient, effective, and comprehensive administrative support for the department of Emergency medicine/Acute care medicine Duties will include administrative tasks such as record keeping, data entry, filing and scanning.Working for our organisation As an Emergency Department we are committed to provide high quality care within a demanding service by ensuring our nursing team are proactive and have additional clinical skills to provide individualised patient care for the whole range of presenting conditions, in which you will be expected to continually demonstrate in this role. We have had a wider suite of investments across our Trust in recent years, including: + The introduction of a new £40 million Urgent & Emergency Care Centre; + A £10 million capital development to include extension to the Emergency Department, Acute Medical Unit, Hot Imaging Suite, Same Day Emergency Care Unit and Staff Support Facilities; + A £5.5 million reconfiguration of Operating Theatres; + £7.2 million/year investment to expand our workforce across the Emergency Department, Same Day Emergency Care, Acute Medicine, and Emergency Surgery including roles for Doctors, Nursing and Advanced Practice, To provide an efficient, effective and comprehensive administrative support for the department/area Duties will include administrative tasks such as record keeping, data entry, filing and scanning. Dealing with telephone queries, checking and updating patient information with clinical staff, managers and patients
