Full Job Description

The Record Centre Team Lead has responsibility for ensuring operational excellence in line with SOP's whilst maximizing the productivity of the operations team in delivering and exceeding client expectations.,

  • Set schedules, including vacations for all team members based at our Roade Record Centre, updating as necessary to maintain optimum effectiveness.
  • Ensure all team members complete their online training in a timely manner.
  • Scan, upload and file SDLS sheets as and when destruction loads are destroyed, ensuring this is up to date so that sending sites have access to this information.
  • Liaise with papermills and other suppliers and book in collections. Making sure the goods received notes (GRN) reports are then sent back to complete the revenue sheet.
  • Liaise with other Record Centres to send all their recycling to the relevant sites increasing our ESG and revenue.
  • Liaise and organise old broken plant and scrap metal to be collected for recycling.
  • Ensure the daily KPI sheet and soft reports are up to date.
  • Able to cover different shifts for the needs of the business in case of absence.
  • Completion of the weekly fire alarm and health and safety paperwork.
  • Assist Record Centre team members in daily operations through hands on direction, assist Transport as required.
  • Ensure all Record Centre team members clock in and out correctly daily and adhere to policies.
  • Ensure that the daily safety check is completed for all areas.
  • Ensure completion of all scheduled Record Centre Audits.
  • Ensure professional, clear, concise communications with all other teams, departments, roles and managers at all times.
  • Ensure complete training of all Record Centre team members on SOP's and all operations relevant to their position.
  • Ensure all facility maintenance and repair work is accurate, timely and cost-effective.
  • Maintain a highly clean and presentable Record Centre at all times, both externally and internally.
  • Ensure all correct security arrangements are in place at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate OSHA regulations and all accidents and injuries are properly reported.

    Previous experience of working in a service delivery role preferably within the records management industry.
  • Team Leader experience preferred and/or Supervisor dependent on experience.
  • Relevant demonstratable work experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organisation.
  • Ability to build and develop successful long-term relationship with clients, and other teams within OASIS.
  • Ability to work independently under own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent task management and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable and results orientated with a strong work ethic and demonstratable attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and database applications.
  • Proactive and works well under pressure.
