If so, we are looking for a dedicated Records Manager to join our team, and we would love to hear from you. As Records Manager you will support, guide and advise the Agency on best practice around electronic and physical records management. You will ensure efficient and effective collaborative working in Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive. In this challenging and interesting role, you will support the Agency to comply with best practice, relevant legislation and Government policy, including the Lord Chancellor's Code of Practice on the Management of Records under section 46 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. You will be joining our friendly and supportive team, who encourage professional development and wellbeing of team members. Your key responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Providing advice, guidance and training on records management in SharePoint to Information Asset Owners and colleagues across the Agency.
  • Managing ServiceNow tickets and providing support and troubleshooting to colleagues across the Agency for issues on managing records in MS365.
  • Working with the Office of the Traffic Commissioner (OTC) to support the management of their records and to inform any Memorandum of Understanding and service level agreements.
  • Taking the lead in supporting DVSA projects in terms of records management principles and development of good practice.
  • Line management responsibilities and day-to-day management of a diverse team, planning and prioritising resources and activities in line with team objectives.
