Full Job Description

This secures and improves the economic well-being and stability of the UK., The Records Review Manager will be responsible for supporting on the management of paper and digital records. This is a great opportunity to work on a new digital sensitivity review project whilst building relationships, knowledge and your experience. Key tasks include:

  • Lead on projects to manage historical and legacy departmental paper and digital records
  • Review records for potential archiving, disposal, or transfer to The National Archives
  • Work with other KIM teams on the sensitivity review of DBT records
  • Work with other government departments on shared records management projects, supporting cross-government objectives
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts and Information Asset Owners across the Department to understand departmental records
  • Act as one of the points of contact for the Records and Knowledge Team on legacy records
  • Support the promotion of good knowledge and information management in teams, helping to anticipate and manage risk
  • Help to embed the benefits of records management and improve behaviours across the Department
  • Engage with the KIM community across Government
  • Work with the wider team to support the work and objectives of the KIM department
  • Assist with eDiscovery searches to answer requests for information

    This post will sit within the Records and Knowledge Management strand of the DBT Knowledge and Information Management (KIM) team. The ideal candidate will have a KIM background with experience of working with paper and or digital records. They will work across the department, helping to embed good records management policies and processes.
