Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Capital Planning and Development Team in the role of Records Technician. The Capital Planning and Development Team successfully deliver a wide range of capital schemes which have recently included the Cambridge Movement Surgical Hub, Cambridge Infusion Centre, Ward refurbishments, Theatre refurbishments and scanner replacements. You will form part of a multidisciplinary team whose role is to provide and maintain a high-quality Estates information service to CUH NHS Trust. You will work with the Records and Space Data Manager to maintain the accuracy for a wide range of records in document, database and drawings format, including CAD and Revit, along with other information databases and software platforms. Main duties of the job Work with the Records and Space Data Manager to maintain a range of facilities records in document, database and drawings formats, all produced by electronic means. Undertake project management of designated schemes as directed by the Estates Record and Space Data Manager, who in turn reports to the Engineering and Development Manager. Provide additional CAD capacity to assist the Design Team with peaks in workload, as authorised by the Estates Record and Space Data Manager. The post holder will form part of a multidisciplinary team whose role is to provide and maintain a high quality estates information service to Addenbrooke's NHS Trust. Estate officers will have both group and individual responsibilities for defined aspects of the service, but each will ensure their contribution is beneficial to other departments within the Trust, as well as the Facilities Department, to fulfil the Trust's overall objectives., At Cambridge University Hospitals, we want to do all we can to support good working days.
