Full Job Description

  • Speaking with customers to provide an update on their claims journey
  • Sending allegations to third party insurers and solicitors
  • Submitting any costs to third party companies
  • Negotiating costs for quantum (damages) disputes
  • Recovering costs from debtors for breach of policy/Indemnity withdrawn cases
  • Instructing solicitors to commence legal proceedings for outstanding costs
  • Proactively establish liability by requesting CCTV, police evidence and witness information
  • Dealing with non fault cases that happen abroad or within the UK
  • Liaising with internal and external companies to bring closure to cases
  • Adhere to and consider all regulatory requirements at all times
  • Be compliant with health and safety policies at all times
  • Ensure compliance with company standards/regulations at all times
  • Any other reasonable duties as required

    Customer service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You'll interact with claimants, third parties and solicitors
  • Time management: Claims processing involves deadlines. Efficiently managing tasks and prioritising work is essential Data entry: Accurate data entry is key for maintaining records and processing claims for our customers Negotiation: Effective negotiation ensures fair outcomes and positive relationships with customers and third parties We love flexibility and hybrid working - you'll spend the first 6 months of employment in the office for training and support and upon passing a probation period hybrid working will begin at 3 days working from home and 2 days in the office - but if you prefer to be in the office more, that's good with us.   • Prior insurance / claims handling experience (Essential)
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Strong expertise in handling complaints.
  • Knowledge of FCA requirements (including individual responsibilities in relation to Consumer Duty).

You'll be sending claim allegations to at fault third party insurers, requesting reimbursement of our costs, negotiating and instructing solicitors for litigation.
