Full Job Description
All staff we be expected to complete ILS/PLS if never done before or an update as per trust policy.
- Participate under the supervision of the specialist core team members in the planning, delivery and evaluation of care for all patients during the peri-operative period (utilising and adapting transferable skills acquired during training.)
- With support from Senior practitioners, act as lead for team during their delivery of care within specific operating lists.
- Maintain accurate records of the theatre episodes in line with trust/departmental policy.
- Promote the safety, well being and interests of patients, staff and visitors to the clinical area.
- Promote clinical governance by actively participating in the risk management process within the Trust.
