Full Job Description

Are you a caring, energetic and innovative leader with a passion for encouraging maximum independence for those in mental Health recovery? Do you possess excellent communication skills, creative and calm in your approach? Liverpool has a varied and long established team who is looking to welcome a new Recovery Service Manager to oversee and develop our Liverpool recovery services.

The Liverpool Mental Health services work with individuals across a range of age groups and needs and in a variety of settings. The Recovery Service Manager role will come into a vibrant service model that has been proudly delivered by Creative Support for over 15 years. The services are recovery focused and aim to further develop our trauma informed care approach to respond to the housing, wellbeing and health needs of the adults we support.

There are a range of supported accommodation services across the City, along with an innovative evening crisis café in the City centre. All services aim to support people to move onto further independence and work on a skills and assets based approach.

The successful post holder will manage an experienced and dedicated senior team and oversee the service model across Liverpool. The successful post holder will have the support from and work in close liaison with other Service managers across the Merseyside and Cheshire region.

We are seeking an individual who has a genuine passion for recovery based approaches. You will have a commitment to social housing and mental health support. The successful candidate will preferably have experience of assessment and referrals and have experience of risk management and service delivery.

You will receive full induction support and supervision. There are excellent career development opportunities within Creative Support. We offer a comprehensive internal mental health training package and a thorough induction and onsite training will also be offered.
