Recovery Worker - Children's Social Care

WithYou, Harbour and ITS in Redcar and Cleveland are part of the THRIVE partnership. This integrated domestic abuse and substance use service are looking to recruit a multi-skilled staff member to deliver substance use and domestic abuse interventions within the local authority safeguarding teams. The staff members will be responsible in responding quickly to high risk safeguarding situations, making sure that people receive appropriate support and guidance., You will work as part of a team with the aims of: understanding your clients keeping them safe creating a plan they can achieve with your support checking in with them and reviewing their progress keeping accurate and timely records of your contact with them working effectively with other social care providers e.g. Housing, to cover all aspects of their successful recovery continuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clients supporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent care
