Full Job Description
Join Marlowe Environmental Services as a Recruiter during an exciting phase of growth! In this pivotal role, you will support some of our Water businesses managing the complete recruitment process. Your responsibilities will include approving requisitions, crafting job advertisements, headhunting top talent, and conducting initial telephone interviews, as well as working with line managers at all levels. As a recruiter, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver exceptional service, leveraging job boards, LinkedIn, and our ATS to minimize reliance on external agencies. You'll also liaise with agencies when needed to fill more specialised technical roles.
- Applications will be reviewed on 16/12/24, Interviews will be held on the 19th & 20th December., Serve as the primary contact for recruitment inquiries across the Guardian Water/Hydro-X Water & Musketeers divisions, providing first-class service to team members.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including preparing job specifications, advertising openings, liaising with agencies, creating shortlists, producing recruitment correspondence, arranging and coordinating interviews, and sending job offers.
- Advertise vacancies on internal platforms and maintain the HR pages of the company intranet.
- Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, negotiating terms and maintaining a preferred supplier list.
- Improve recruitment timelines by managing the duration of vacancies through to successful appointments.
- Monitor and manage the Recruitment Inbox alongside your team; screen CVs and shortlist candidates in collaboration with the relevant Recruiting Manager.
- Conduct telephone interviews and coordinate meetings with the Recruiting Manager, providing constructive feedback to all candidates.
- Proactively source candidates through various channels, including headhunting, social media, referrals, job boards, and CV databases.
- Develop a future talent pool of candidates in line with market trends and needs.
Proven experience in a fast-paced internal recruitment role, preferably within the technical, water, or construction sectors. - Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems to track candidates and vacancies effectively.
- Experience in direct sourcing, including understanding boolean search methods and headhunting on LinkedIn.
- Dynamic personality with energy, confidence, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and adapt job descriptions as needed & be able to accurately send out Job offers.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Able to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under strict deadlines.
Competitive Salary of £32K (dependent on experience) - Hybrid/remote working- Office based on average once a fortnight, travelling required to meet role demands maximum once a week.
