Full Job Description

In partnership with Lancashire County Council (LCC), we will be working to recruit individuals who will receive pre-employment training and placement prior to interview. This role will include promoting opportunities to attract individuals to the sector and liaising closely with LCC, in order to help them recruit up to 150 people to existing vacancies, and to help with staffing up to 17 new residential childcare settings which are planned to open within the next 12 months.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Working with employers, external agencies and community representatives to support recruitment for the residential childcare provision across Lancashire and South Cumbria

  • Develop and manage partner and employer relationships

  • Promoting the sector and working with a range of stakeholders to maximise recruitment and attract individuals to residential childcare

  • Analysing data and supporting the preparation of reports for submission

    GCSE Maths and English or equivalent, at Grade C/4 or above

  • Experience of working in partnership with external agencies

  • Experience of data analysis and reporting

    The Exciting Role
    RIPP stands for 'Regional Improvement Plan Pilot'.

    The project has been introduced as a result of the chronic shortage of foster carers across the North-West. The DFE funded project is focussed on attracting individuals to residential Childcare Services (children's homes), to allow children in care to reside in close proximity to the areas they live in.
