Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Administrator to work within our Assessment Specialist Recruitment team, who are responsible for the processing of applications for an assessor within OCR; from initial enquiry stage through to approving the applicant, to become an assessor to then undertake marking., As a Recruitment Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our recruitment process. You will be the first point of contact for applicants, guiding them through the application process and providing support and information as needed. The Assessment Specialist recruiting team oversees the whole assessor recruiting cycle, from advertising the post to reviewing applications via our in-house recruitment platforms and contacting applicants via phone/email/social media and making offers. Other responsibilities include:

  • Make decisions on applicants' suitability to assess with OCR.
  • Advertise assessor vacancies and the benefits of being an assessor within OCR.
  • Update recruitment pages of the OCR website.
  • Identify and assist with improving processes.
  • You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other members of the recruitment team, as well as with stakeholders across OCR, to ensure that we are attracting and selecting the best candidates for our assessor roles. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that offers plenty of opportunities for professional growth and development

    You will have strong administration skills and experience, be versatile and flexible, as well as knowledgeable with using Microsoft products. You will have a track record of providing excellent customer service and be comfortable speaking with members of the public through a variety of channels. You will be able to prioritise your own workload while being able to work within a team and be comfortable handling multiple close deadlines at once. You will be able to deal successfully and inclusively with a variety of individuals, both inside and outside the company and be able to make decisions within a clearly defined area. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our recruitment process.
