Full Job Description
The merger creates opportunities to generate significant change in the world of healthcare including changes to treatment, population health monitoring, workforce development and leadership, policy, and advocacy.
You will support the delivery of high quality, customer-focused recruitment administration services across the University's Schools and Professional Services Directorates.
Reporting to the Recruitment Administration Team Leader, you will be the primary point of contact for customers on any day-to-day recruitment administration issues, providing high quality, specialist and technical advice and guidance.
You will provide and effective recruitment administration service by:
Working with Recruitment Leads to plan recruitment campaigns and agree selection methods, advertising sources and timetables required to fill vacant positions.
Posting adverts and supporting material via relevant media channels.
Maintaining appropriate recruitment records, including in relation to approvals and costs.
Working with Hiring Managers to ensure candidates are updated with progress at the appropriate point in the process.
Administering pre-employment screenings (e.g. UKVI, employment references, health clearance, DBS etc.)
Good level of education to at least 'A' level (or equivalent) with examination passes demonstrating high level of literacy and numeracy.
Demonstrably excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a highly customer-focused approach.
Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own work load and manage multiple activities over a daily, weekly and monthly cycle.
Demonstrable level of proficiency in the use of relevant software packages
Demonstrable level of attention to detail and ability to work accurately when drafting correspondence and entering data.
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proven ability to build constructive working relationships both internal and external.
Additionally, it would be advantageous to have a Level 3 qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development/Recruitment and Employment Confederation (or similar body), or the equivalent workplace experience.
