Full Job Description

As a Recruitment & Compliance Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our HR recruitment services, handling all the standard recruitment administration for Luton Council employees. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all documents and candidates are onboarded efficiently and within a timely manner. You'll respond to recruitment-related enquiries and collaborate with other HR teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Plus, you'll play a key role in improving our recruitment services and assisting with international recruitment and sponsorship of overseas workers.

If so, the Recruitment Team within HR at Luton Council is looking for you!, We need someone with solid experience in admin recruitment work, including vetting, compliance, and safer recruitment. You should be comfortable handling and responding to routine telephone and written enquiries.

  • Prioritisation: Skill in quickly learning, interpreting, and applying complex rules and procedures.

  • Proactiveness: Eagerness to add value to our recruitment services with suggestions and ideas for improvement.


  • Tech Skills: You should be proficient in using MS Office, systems, and databases, and able to respond to customers professionally and effectively.,
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in business, information management, or a related field.

  • Willingness to undergo further training relevant to the job and working at the council.
