Full Job Description

Counter Fraud, Compliance and Debt (CFCD) brings together all operational units dealing with fraud investigations, compliance checks, interventions, debt and national insurance number (NINO) applications. The CFCD National Delivery Assurance Service (NDAS) is a key part of the CFCD organisation serving as a central hub for resource planning, performance monitoring, and the execution of cross-functional tasks such as recruitment and training, estates planning, transformation and escalations. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to join the CFCD Recruitment and Estates team, tasked with providing the resources necessary for CFCD to meet and exceed its ambitious business goals, by ensuring we attract, recruit and retain the right people into the right roles at the right time and enabling people to deliver effectively in the right places. This role spans across DWP, other Government Departments and external organizations, offering an ideal opportunity to engage with stakeholders across the government and make a significant impact. The Recruitment and Estates Leader works within a nationally dispersed team, delivering recruitment services for the entire CFCD directorate. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Adopt an innovative approach to problem-solving, negotiating and mediating solutions with internal and external partners to eliminate barriers.
  • Create reports and presentations, adhering to tight deadlines, and providing information for internal and external audiences, as well as Senior Leaders.
  • Support the development and implementation of innovative recruitment campaigns to support the overarching CFCD Attraction and Retention Strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory HR and Civil Service Recruitment Principles.
  • Collaborate inclusively across CFCD, DWP, and external organisations, demonstrating strong leadership and fostering effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Provide key critical 'expert' recruitment function efficiently and effectively across CFCD.
  • Respond and act within agreed timescales, anticipating and managing customer and business expectations.
  • Support the CFCD Estates strategy through adherence to relevant processes.
