Recruitment and HR Apprentice

An exciting opportunity to join with HR team for a HR apprentice to join and play a key role in our recruitment plans. The college is looking to expand their teaching provision and therefore this role offers the appointee the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of initiatives, adding value to our already successful HR team., Your apprenticeship will last for 18 months, during which time you will support the coordination of the whole recruitment cycle from start to finish. This includes liaising with managers on recruitment needs, advertising roles, collating applications, organising shortlisting, planning interview days, communicating with applicants, running the interview days and completing pre-employment checks for new staff. Alongside this you will work as a key member of the HR team by supporting the team with key activities in the college lifecycle, including coordinating training sessions, managing change of details processes, and writing and issuing correspondence. This role will work closely with the current HR team to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of the HR function, creating solid foundations for a career within HR. You will be taught, and will put into practice, skills which will be key for a junior HR role.
