Full Job Description

Due to ongoing project wins, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Manager to join our Recruitment Team on a permanent basis. You will deliver the resource plan for the operating unit through the utilisation of appropriate tools and strategies and hands-on 360 recruitment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a resourcing strategy for the business, ensuring a proactive, robust, resource planning process for the management of our internal talent, whilst sourcing, recruiting, hiring and pipelining talented external talent to meet the needs of our business. What you'll do:

  • Work in conjunction with the HR team to support the design and delivery of a sustainable talent acquisition strategy and hiring plan - ensuring delivery against our people strategy under resourcing and skills for growth.
  • Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide an employee hiring forecast across the OU/EF
  • Identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process and suggest strategies and process improvements to address these.
  • Ensure resourcing forecasts, workforce skills and gap analysis are accurate and communicated with a clear workforce planning policy / process.
  • Reduce exposure to risk associated with recruitment / redeployment.
  • Inform key stakeholders such as leadership development, bid teams. HRBPs and D&I by providing data of mapped out gaps for succession planning /available skills training requirements - ensuring we are selecting the right pool of people to support scare skills.
  • Use a range of direct sourcing tools to attract and recruit suitable and diverse candidates including job boards, Skanska.co.uk and social media tools such as Linked in ensuring both innovation and cost effectiveness are employed when choosing appropriate sourcing methods.

    Proven delivery in the key areas of Recruitment, resource forecasting and workforce planning.
  • Previous experience in an in-house recruitment role, broad knowledge of recruitment and latest recruitment developments.
  • Proven track record in project management and delivering projects successfully.
  • Experience of working with reporting tools, with the ability to interpret data and present it effectively.
  • Thorough and up to date knowledge of employment law, and experience of practical application of this in a complex business environment.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of managing and building inclusive and effective teams.
  • Resilient - able to face challenges proactively and comfortable in collaborating with all levels within the organisation.
