Full Job Description

Are you passionate about people and processes? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where recruitment is a daily activity? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as our Recruitment & Resourcing Manager!

Grade: H/MSP - £31,809 - £36,000 per annum

Hours: Up to 37 hours per week (applications for part time &/or job share considered)

Join our vibrant People & OD team - where HR, Payroll, and our Everybody Academy (L&D) come together to create a supportive and efficient workplace. As an established IIP accredited employer (10 years & counting!) we're dedicated to maintaining our solid foundations - systems & processes that enable a seamless experience for all employees.

We're a leisure charity committed to our local communities, but we can only deliver our broad range of services through our fabulous people - and our Recruitment & Resourcing Manager role is key to ensuring we keep recruiting (& retaining) great people. The experience of applicants and new starters is important to us, after all it's part of our Employer Brand.

Following continued growth of our organisation, this new role is being introduced to ensure we remain an employer of choice. The nature of leisure involves an ongoing cycle of regular recruitment activity throughout the year, alongside more nuanced or specialist recruitments as new opportunities arise, and the Recruitment & Resourcing Manager bring this all to life.

As the Recruitment & Resourcing Manager, you'll be the gateway for recruitment and employment-related changes. A hands-on role, you'll deliver & manage end-to-end people processes, including recruitment, onboarding, contractual/pay amendments, and leavers. The role involves:

Delivering effective recruitment campaigns.
Ensuring accurate actioning of contractual changes in the HR & Payroll system.
Issuing timely and accurate correspondence.
Maintaining employment records.
Line managing a small team of People & OD Assistants.
Supporting our Payroll Manager with records and pay processes.

You'll be supported by a team of HR professionals, many of whom have first-hand experience working on our recruitment / onboarding policies & processes. As Recruitment & Resourcing Manager you'll also take on some office management responsibilities - ensuring we effectively use of our head office buildings & hub spaces across the wider support team.

Our values are important to us all here at Everybody, they're how we do things and at the heart of what you'll do day-to-day:

Fit the Future: Develop proactive recruitment and development campaigns, deliver engaging events, and produce impactful reports.
Working as One: Collaborate with payroll, deliver training, and ensure seamless onboarding and induction processes.
Trusted & Honest: Manage recruitment processes, ensure accurate correspondence, and conduct audits.
In the Service of Others: Coordinate with HRBPs, manage onboarding, and gather feedback from leavers.
Free to do our Best: Provide a great experience for job applicants and new recruits, evaluate recruitment events, and develop improvement plans.
Caring for All: Manage and support the People & OD Assistants, oversee contractual changes, and coordinate temporary arrangements.
