Recycling Operative

The Revive shops sell a wide range of pre-owned items that would previously have gone into landfill and are now being taken out of the waste stream and put back to good use.

What will I be doing?

+ Assessing the stock that comes into the shop, as well as waste flow, to ensure suitability for sale, making sure that prohibited/unsafe items are removed
+ Serving customers and building relationships, including support and sales advice to ensure repeat custom
+ Working with the wider team to research stock items to understand their value, merchandise stock and create an understanding of what works well in the shop
+ Ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping and cleanliness are upheld within the shop
+ Maintaining the security of the shop premises, stock and all shop monies
+ Completing and submitting all necessary paperwork
+ Any other duties required to achieve the smooth and profitable running of the shop
+ Encourage and promote the Revive Charity scheme

What are the requirements?

+ Full training and uniform/PPE will be provided
+ A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required
+ Excellent teamwork skills and customer service
