Refuse / Recycling Loaders

We are transforming our Waste Services which makes it an exciting time to join us. We are looking to recruit nine Refuse/Recycling Loaders and one Yard Operative/Loader.

You will be part of a team responsible for the collection of glass recycling containers and wheeled bins from domestic and trade properties, along with collection of special waste and cleaning spills as necessary within the areas covered by Gedling Borough Council.

The Yard Operative/Loader will perform duties as above for part of the week and the other part will be spent maintaining and clearing the depot and yard to ensure it remains fit for purpose and free from hazards and obstruction.

For both roles, you will receive training to comply with health and safety for yourself, colleagues and members of the public. You need to be a good team player, be willing to learn and have good social skills to communicate with customers in a friendly and respectful manner., Disability Confident
