An exciting opportunity for a Regional Account Manager has become available within the Travelbound Sales Team in Brighton. Working with education establishments, you will be responsible for selling and account-ownership the full product range of educational trips to destinations throughout Europe and Worldwide for one of the UK's leading educational school travel brands!
Travelbound Student Tours is a small specialist company taking care of informative travel for students in Higher and Further Education. Being part of Travelopia, we can support a student's development in unison with their educational framework and build an outstanding learning experience outside of the lecture room.

What you will be doing:
+ Proactively engage with customers via phone, email, and/or video calls.
+ Develop, grow, and lead your own sales pipeline by delivering excellent customer service to repeat bookers and new enquiries.
+ Handling all aspects of the booking to deliver a detailed, personalized service.
+ Converting direct, business and marketing-generated inquiries to sales and initiating follow-up procedures to ensure a successful conversion.
+ Accurate use of our HubSpot CRM system prompt. Creating and updating new customers, and opportunities, maintaining hotlists and favorites lists
+ Using our in-house reservation and quote presentation systems to prepare quotes for customer inquiries in an accurate and timely fashion.
+ Have the ability to negotiate and take care of sales challenges to successfully generate maximum revenue, margin, and volume in line with individual and team targets.
+ Generating customer invoices and dispatching them to clients.
+ Maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
+ Working as part of the Experience Education team to deliver cross-sell opportunities to develop incremental growth across all brands.
+ Reporting accurate sales data when requested by the Sales Manager.
+ Maintain up-to-date information relating to current campaigns, special offers, operational changes, product updates and competitor products.
+ Support new product development projects and market research.
+ Implementing new business development activity, capturing market information via social media and websites to identify decision makers for tours.
+ Working as part of a team within Travelbound along with other brands within Experience Education on occasion

+ Proven experience in a similar role or equivalent from the travel industry
+ Good understanding of the full sales cycle in a consultative approach
+ Experience in being flexible, and adaptable to change, remaining proactive and resourceful
+ The highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build trust
+ IT literate (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
