Full Job Description
Undertake 1st line Assurance and Performance activities on all aspects of contractually required Service Delivery.
Undertake soft FM and hard FM assurance including DIO's 7 pillars of compliance - Fuel Safety, Fire Safety, Gas Safety, Asbestos, Legionella, DSEAR, and Electrical Safety - for all UK Trg sites in the South East Region.
To include cyclical and ad-hoc assurance of all relevant, contractually required documentation, such as Management Plans, inspection regimes Action Plans, works raised and mitigation, as well as delivery processes enacted, and validation of the IP's self-assurance processes.
Wherever possible, assurance activity should be carried out jointly with the Industry Partner in the interests of promoting improvement and collaboration.
Attend relevant site visits. For example, the Industry Partner's Self-Assurance Audit Programme to promote joint assurance and/or DIO OS & Trg Compliance Audits to provide regional perspective as necessary, commenting where required.
Ensure effective communications on regional delivery Contract Performance matters are maintained and captured along with disseminating best practice and initiatives.
Ensure that current supplier meets contractual delivery and performance standards compliant to policy and that the Contractor complies with statutory requirements in line with contract.
Supporting the Assurance Manager in ensuring the IP has a balanced, robust and transparent audit programme and effective fraud prevention regime.
Provide regional input to the Assurance Manager and the Senior Performance and Reporting Manager to support the review of quarterly performance measures and annual KPIs.
Leading all assurance and performance activities within the governance framework for the contract within region. Attending/Chairing assurance and performance regional activities at governance meetings.
Review of data packs and follow up actions.
Act as a focal point in region for tasks relating to Technical Compliance received from HQ UK Trg liaising directly with the relevant compliance Manager as required to better facilitate the provision of the detail.
Coordinating with the Industry Partner, collate and validate responses as necessary before passing back to DIO HQ UK Trg. This will also build assurance that all sites are prepared for and support adequately and in a timely manner all 2nd line assurance activity.
Liaise with site staff to verify that asset data is correct and aligns with the Supplier's system and amend where required using the predetermined Property Change Form process.
Engage with the Regional Head of Establishment and Training Safety Officers in supporting a wide range of assurance activities to ensure they have confidence that they have a compliant estate for them and the end user.
Support the Regional Site Estate Facility Manger and team in relation to performance and assurance queries and guidance.
