Full Job Description

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Regional Communications Officer. The post-holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a pro-active regional media strategy and taking responsibility for the day to day presentation of the Party's policies and activities in the regional media.

The successful candidate will have: A good knowledge of the regional media and issues affecting that region; Experience of developing and implementing a media strategy; Ability to build relations with regional and local media; and the ability to lead or co-ordinate a team of volunteers.

    Salary: £44,996.52 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of £2,608. There is the ability to progress to £49,430.55 over the next 2 years. This role also attracts a car allowance of £5000 (gross per annum), subject to internal checks.
