Full Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Regional Facilities Supervisor to join a small team responsible for looking after the both the reactive and pre-planned maintenance of buildings/offices occupied by Counter Terrorism Policing in the South East., Shift allowance, on-call or other job related allowances from your previous role will not be protected unless they are attached to the new role.

The successful candidate will be able to identify and report building faults, and undertake minor repairs as appropriate. They will also have proven experience of managing contractors and pre-planned building works ensuring all relevant health and safety issues are covered.
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from your main base. For this reason a full UK Driving Licence is essential to the role. You will be also required to perform on-call arrangements for immediate response as required.
Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level SC together with a number of enhanced security checks. In order to achieve this, you must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions may apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.
