Full Job Description
- Responsible for managing Next sites at Ebbw Vale, Exeter and Basingstoke
- Monitor and liaise with sites each morning ensuring all routes are covered and escalating issues to the senior team
- Take on the O License for the three sites managed
- Making sure sites are keeping organised records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders, ensuring documents are properly filed and logged.
- Ensure all safety records, compliance and regulations are up-to-date and in line with company policies and legislation, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices
Previous and demonstrative experience as a FLM/ Shift Manager/Transport Manager, within a logistics environment or similar role (Essential) - Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management
- Internal CPC Qualification (Essential)
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage, organize and train direct reports
- A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well-received
