You will be accountable for owning and leading the operational planning and outcomes for the Bupa Health Clinics in the North and Scotland region. Your responsibilities will include developing the business and delivering a market-leading customer journey in your regional marketplace. In this role, you will drive the achievement of regional financial, customer, quality, reputational, and regulatory goals. You will manage business relationships at the partner, corporate, and senior levels to support sustained business success. As an inspirational leader, you will instil accountability and develop capability across your teams, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to achieve their best. How you'll help us make health happen:

  • Strategic and Operational Delivery: Accountable for meeting the overall regional commercial goals and targets and supporting the centre managers to meet their own targets. Ensure the delivery on Bupa purpose and sustainability agenda. Own operational delivery for the region including driving the fulfilment of KPIs as specified for the region.
  • Governance Risk and Compliance: Accountable for governance / regulatory requirements within the region - ensuring quality and compliance policies standards are used consistently, communicating regulatory changes down the line effectively.
  • People Management: Guide, support, and coach Centre Managers in strategic management. Oversee Centre Manager plans / direction. Own the continued competence / compliance for immediate direct reports and ensure personal development and internal progression is championed. - Lead by example developing centre manager talent, setting the culture for the region and for an internal talent pipeline / succession path.
  • Stakeholder Management: Accountable for building and owning relationships, championing the Bupa brand. Key relationships with decision makers will incorporate Partnerships, Corporate customers and other Bupa market units. Agree service delivery levels with key support functions in order to work effectively together in providing great customer service and commercial success in the region

    Strong operational experience which demonstrates an ability to lead a region or business area.
  • Good level of commercial healthcare markets knowledge and experience.
  • Experience of leading teams of a varied size and scale in terms of people, locations and environment Track record of creating, leading and developing high-performing teams / functions.
  • Experience of working in a health care environment or an equivalent regulatory environment.
  • Ideal candidate must be people orientated (essential).
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggling multiple priorities.
