As the London Regional Operations Manager, you will be accountable for exceeding results and streamlining the day-to-day running of operations by driving consistency and excellence across all assigned stores. In the role, you will priorities coaching to your district managers and retail support team on ways to elevate capability, improve performance, and deliver results for both. You will also lead the planning, training, implementation, and measurements of initiatives for your district, bringing the partner and customer experience to life!

This role will have you collaborating with all business functions to identify areas of opportunity by leveraging existing Starbucks programs & resources, you will prioritise plans to effectively drive a 'one approach for all' in our Retail stores.

  • Working with central business support teams to optimise the approach and opportunities for the district, identifying and accumulating key budget line requirements as part of the annual budgeting and planning process.

  • Identifying solutions and establishing clear expectations, tactics and timelines for work assigned to the Retail team. Providing insights, analysis and information to help drive world class success across stores.

  • Leading the London team to manage and control costs in the P&L for the districts. Identifying areas of opportunity, coaching and mentoring on relevant plans and initiatives.

  • Setting performance expectations for the district, developing organisational capability, and modelling how we work together. Promoting a successful can-do attitude, facilitates confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.

  • Leading and managing market planning, portfolio reviews and portfolio development for the region. Aligning the regional team on the regional strategy and investment approach.

  • Own and lead as an expert coach that can challenge and influence at all levels, including your peers. Provide partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities to build effective teams and challenges that inspire partners to achieve business results within Starbucks mission statement and values.

    Experience of retail, acting as a subject matter expert to successfully influence mass scale projects and programmes across all retail ownership types.

  • Experience with solving complex problems to overcome the unexpected, with initiative and broad and holistic perspectives. Able to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to coach and influence at all levels of a Retail organisation

  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Understanding of budgets and how to manage timelines and requirements for assigned activities ensuring these are delivered to requirements.

  • Experience leading, coaching and mentoring on ensure a growth mindset for all ownership, regions and functions.

  • Experience in work simplification to improve the experience for partners and customers.
