Full Job Description

The Directorate programmes manager role is to provide support and advice as a subject matter expert to accredited programmes delivery teams and relevant managers at site, group and AED area levels. This role covers the prisons in the North West, North East and Womens estate. The postholder will work closely with other directorate programmes managers to ensure consistency in approach and advice. As a member of the central OBP team, a directorate programmes manager will input on national projects and initiatives as required and work closely with various headquarters teams including data, research and evaluation and Interventions Services.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Setting up and chairing regular regional meetings for programmes and treatment managers to gather information and provide support and develop networking of colleagues and cross site working.
+ Provide quarterly reports on performance and issues
+ Contribute to reports, information requests and projects as required
+ Provide subject matter advice and guidance relevant to the operational delivery of accredited offending behaviour programmes as required
+ Identify and escalate issues and provide recommendations for possible solutions
+ Support the implementation of the next generation of accredited programmes
+ Understand and monitor programmes demand, We'll assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:
