This position is a key leadership role within the UKIE AMZL (Last Mile) Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team. The successful candidate will be an experienced Engineering Manager with proven end-to-end Program and Project Management skills, gained in a network environment. As a Regional Project Manager, you will play an instrumental role in setting direction and leading projects and programmes within RME Field, engaging with a range of functions including Global Reliability Team, Global Engineering Services / Field Engineering, the Senior RME Project Manager, Talent Acquisition, PxT, Finance, Supply Chain, WHS, ACES, Compensation and Benefits and Operations amongst others, addressing challenges with high potential for innovation across the organisation. Your work will make a difference to the RME organisation as you create solutions to complex and/or ambiguous network challenges. You will be an integral part of our future innovation, helping us continually redefine and offer, Engage senior stakeholders across the UK and EU network, providing regular project progress updates.
- Set strategic direction and drive critical RME projects/programs, collaborating cross-functionally.
- Independently deliver robust end-to-end projects for the RME team.
- Manage the coordination, tracking, and implementation of centrally and regionally-driven network initiatives/actions, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Address complex network challenges with an innovative, customer-centric focus.
- Work closely with the Senior RME Project Manager to align on objectives and coordinate efforts.
- Establish effective processes and mechanisms to enable the RME team's success.
- Conduct team and organizational reviews, assessing key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Define data-driven approaches to products and ways of working, driving evidence-based decision-making.
- Resolve business-critical and persistent problems, demonstrating a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel regularly, at least 1 week per month.

A day in the life
A typical day for you as the Regional Project Manager involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical RME initiatives. You start by aligning with the UK RME leadership and with the Senior Project Manager and other RME Managers, reviewing the status of key projects and addressing any roadblocks. Next, you would present your analysis and recommendations, including detailed business cases, to senior leaders, including Regional Directors and Vice Presidents, to secure support for complex programs and initiatives. Throughout the day, you'll monitor project KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and work with the team to refine processes. You'll also engage with field teams, providing guidance and ensuring the timely progress of operational changes. Additionally, you'll develop budgets and project plans for equipment upgrades, evaluating costs, benefits, and return on investment to justify and prioritize improvements. You'll also be responsible for managing
project finances, tracking expenditures, and ensuring effective utilization of resources. With strong stakeholder management skills, financial acumen, and a solutions-oriented mindset, you ensure the RME team delivers exceptional customer experiences.

- Proven track record of management and leadership responsibilities
- Relevant experience in team creation and leadership
- Experience driving significant change management initiatives across all levels of an organization, including developing business strategy and planning
- Skilled in communicating and presenting to stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior management
- Proficiency in modern, advanced reliability methods and techniques
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English communication, Advanced or Master's degree
- Engineering Leadership
- Relevant experience in outlining programme roadmaps, including anticipating bottlenecks and balancing business needs against technical and operational constraints
