Full Job Description

This will be based across the North and central England and will require lots of travel within and around these regions.

With direct line management for a field team of 10 sales representatives who are responsible for geographic based territories, your success will be dictated by your ability to coach, train and engage the regional team. With direct line management

+ Achieving and exceeding margin, ASP, value and volume sales targets
+ Contributing to the strategic direction of the channel
+ Motivational leadership of the team
+ Managing the performance and development of the team
+ Driving productivity of the team and KPI achievement
+ Ensuring Company policies, procedures and controls are adhered to
+ Keeping costs within budget
+ Developing effective working relationships at all levels, internally and externally
+ Working closely and effectively alongside the other Trade Sales teams, Specification team, Marketing, Finance and other departments to deliver commercial objectives and targets
+ Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and other key stakeholders
What do you need to be successful in this role?

+ A focused leader who is very customer & sales focused and naturally demonstrates strong team engagement who is able to lead change.
+ Previous experience in a sales environment with Trade or B2B focus would be advantageous.
+ Proven sales management success in a B2B or B2C environment.
+ Proven leadership, people management and coaching skills.
+ Financially astute and profit focussed.
+ Strong sales and negotiation skills.
+ Strong commercial acumen.
+ Extremely customer focused and aware of customer needs.
+ Industry and product knowledge.
