Full Job Description

We are seeking a Care Trainer to strengthen our current team to deliver quality training to our staff to enable them to provide excellent standards of person-centred care. In this role you will be responsible for the entire end to end process of training design, delivery and evaluation, so you'll have the opportunity to shape what we deliver! The Sanctuary Learning Academy offer a blended approach to learning and development, using e-learning, face to face training and observation and evaluation.

Utilising your previous experience of working within the adult social care industry, and working within the regulatory framework, you will be skilled at identifying learning needs and evaluating learning and development programmes through observation and feedback.

You will support a cluster of homes across the East Midlands ensuring that staff have access to on-going skills development, as required for the care sector and working within Sanctuary Care.

You will need to be hard working, have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team, and solely, whilst being remotely managed. Communication and organisational skills are therefore essential as you will work closely with people at all levels of the organisation, to ensure cost effective training is delivered appropriately and consistently, tailoring learning solutions and services to meet a wide variety of needs.

You will ideally hold a certificate in teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, CIPD certificate in training practice or have recent experience working in a similar role and the Care Sector. Strong computer skills and experience of working to challenging deadlines are essential for success in this role.

If you have a passion for learning and development, coupled with an innovative, pragmatic and flexible approach, you will be equipped to meet the needs and add value to our fast-paced organisation. Frequent and overnight travel is a requirement of this role; therefore a full, current driving licence and flexibility is essential to travel to across the region and other regions is requested.

When you join Sanctuary Care, you will be part of something special - we are an innovative organisation, with ambitious growth plans. We put people at the heart of everything we do and that includes our staff. We invest heavily in your training, promote a strong teamwork ethic and make sure that you have the support and resources you need to reach your potential.
