Full Job Description
· Carry out audits of the BCA production process which will include, arrivals, appraisal, assured, imaging and costed inspections to a high level of accuracy
· Focusing on sites accuracy, quality and consistency across all production areas
· Provide coaching / training for all BCA processes arrivals, appraisal, assured, imaging and costed inspections of vehicles in line with BCA requirements
· May be required to assist centres in all areas of production
· Visit buyer complaints to arbitrate on post-sale disputes liaising with the buyer and Post Sale Services department providing an unbiased audit report
· Demonstrating BCA processes to vendors / buyers
· To identify trends and inconsistent reporting of production processes
· Accompany or discuss the audit results with Vendor representatives on site as required.
· Ensure that the Company's health and safety standards and practices are adhered to in the work areas preventing accidents to vehicles and people
· Refer any issues, queries or complaints to the relevant manager
· Undertake ad-hoc tasks as necessary to meet the business needs and for your own personal development.
· The role will be predominantly undertaken outdoors; this means the job holder will spend a significant proportion of their time exposed to all weather conditions throughout the year
· A flexible approach to working hours is required to meet the needs of the business.
· Must hold a valid UK Driving License
· Must be self-motivated and aware of the importance of carrying out the role accurately
· Willing to help other departments / colleagues in busy periods
· Good understanding of the English language for onsite safety reasons, written emails, audit reports and clear communication with customers.
· Must have self-motivation, the ability to work under own initiative and a willingness to learn is essential
· Have a detailed knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, specifications and mechanical understanding
· Must have excellent computer skills, in particular good knowledge of excel is necessary
· Have the ability to communicate at all levels and work well within a Team
· Have the ability to deliver reactive process training to address quality concerns and also provide pro-active training to improve quality and productivity
· Have the ability to identify areas of concern, be able to address the concerns and help minimise the impact in the future
· Flexibility and occasional overnight stays to support other centres across the UK, hotel accommodation will be provided, · Experienced in the use of a tablet
· Must have excellent computer skills, in particular good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Tablet based programmes
· Basic Excel skills is required, as this will be used in day to day tasks
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Problem solver with prioritisation and planning / time management skills
· Ability to operate under pressure / tight deadlines and under own initiative
· High attention to detail
· Inspection Hand-held technology
