Your role @CHANEL: Design, Produce, Support and Project Manage all VM and Promotional activity for F&B UK Region| Design & Create local initiatives and creative solutions | Uphold Brand Image | Design, Produce and Project Manage all Regional and Local SAB animations| maximise brand equity The VM and Promotional Design Manager will manage a team looking after all the aspects of Visual Merchandising and Trade activity within the region, ensuring that creative initiatives and strategies are implemented to brand guidelines. Communicating closely and maintaining relationships with our supplier network is also key, as well as ensuring that project budgets are kept in line. The role must ensure that projects are briefed on time and managed through to completion before being installed on time and within budget. The role has the opportunity to support and work alongside the wider design, VM and display teams as well as maintain a close working relationship with our Global AD team. What impact you can create at Chanel: Design, Produce, Support and Project Manage all VM and Campaign activity for F&B UK/Region and Travel Retail: Supporting the Marketing and Retail teams to implement strong design and creative solutions.

  • Designing 3D VM concepts for UK Retail and Travel Retail spaces based on global guidelines
  • Design all SAB concepts and animations for the UK Region/local market
  • Creation of all Trade installations within the UK Region including VM executions
  • Creating design proposals and technical layouts in 2D and 3D for the UK Region market including local and travel retail VM initiatives (Sketchup experience required)
  • Project managing all VM/SAB animations concepts through to completion, delivery, installation and derig
  • Designing in an environmentally responsible way, considering new, sustainable initiatives within budget considerations and managing the end-of-life cycle of these materials
  • Working within global guidelines to produce visually exceptional enhanced campaign collateral
  • Artworking, layouts, approvals and communications across a variety of ongoing projects to support the counter and campaign activity
  • Communicating closely and maintaining relationships with our supplier network

  • Supporting the field visual merchandisers and wider design team in numerous day-to-day tasks
  • Careful and considerate project managing of tasks ensuring strict timelines are kept
  • Working fluidly across wider internal teams with the ability to 'wear many hats'
  • Managing day-to-day contact with suppliers, vendors and other departments as required
  • Managing your own workflow as well as considering workflow within other teams to ensure projects are completed on time, in budget and to the standard required
  • Completing any other tasks deemed appropriate for the role

    At least 3-5 years' experience within the industry is preferable
  • Sketchup knowledge is essential and VRAY rendering experience preferable
  • Qualification in a design subject is desirable
  • Ability to design with a CSR mindset and sustainable thinking
  • Fluent in the Adobe Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Fluent in the Microsoft suite of programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Be curious and collaborative
  • Previous people management skills also preferable
  • Able to commute to a London-based office and able to work remotely if required
