Full Job Description

To help us achieve our ambitions, we are looking to recruit a Regional and Volunteer
Engagement Officer , to join our small staff team and report into the Head of Sport.

We are excited by the opportunity to build our work in the North West of England and the
chance to grow the game in this important region of the country. This is the first regional role
we are appointing, and we hope to add to the team in future, and this role will help us to
shape the team.

You will also support our volunteers nationally to enable our competition programme to run
smoothly throughout the year.

As Regional and Volunteer Engagement Officer, your most important responsibilities will be

  • To lead the development of targeted boccia playing and volunteering opportunities in

  • the Northwest of England
  • To effectively and proactively engage and support existing volunteers across the sport

  • of boccia in England, ensuring they have the skills needed for the sport to flourish
  • To recruit and retain new volunteers, with particular focus in identified geographical

  • areas

    £21,480 full time equivalent (actual salary £17,184 per annum)
    0.8FTE (28 hours per week)

    Hybrid role - Ideally based in the North West at home with an expectation of regular time
    spent at Boccia England headquarters in Beeston, Nottingham.
