Register Your Interest - Research Assistant - Cell Biology Placement

This role will be based in London on an Office based working arrangement.,

• Carry out experiments on stem cells and glial cells to look at the biochemistry and signalling in neurodegeneration with a particular emphasis on neurogenesis and cellular senescence


• Support in developing new assays, models, and methods


• Oral and written communication of data in a clear and concise manner


• Monitor and review published work to guide internal research


• Help the team with general laboratory duties, such as ordering and cell line checks

  You will be looking to complete a 12-month student internship as part of your undergraduate degree.


• Studying a Biological sciences degree (or equivalent qualification)


• Good understanding of molecular and cellular biology and biochemistry


• Practical laboratory experience desirable but not essential


• Understanding of statistical analysis desirable, Operates with a high level of integrity, transparency and accountability
