An excellent opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse RGN to come and work in HMP Manchester. This could be the perfect change that you need.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has an interest in working in a challenging but very supportive environment. You will need strong leadership skills, be able to make decisions and have sound communication skills. You would be working as part of the MDT to care for patients who are in a secure environment.

You must have been in the UK for 2 years prior to applying for this post.

The post is full time covering 7 days a week with rotation onto nights.

The successful applicants will assist in the overall delivery of care to patients within the Primary Care department of HMP Manchester. You will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. The post holder will at all times comply with the NMC Code of Conduct, relevant legislation policies and procedures.

Healthcare services operate 7 days a week, and the successful applicants would need to be flexible in their approach to meeting the demands of the service,

  • Pay Enhancements - 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.
