Full Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Home Manager to lead and manage one of our client's children's residential homes. As the Registered Home Manager, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care, overseeing the day-to-day running of the home, and ensuring the highest quality of support and care is provided to each child.,

  • Ensure that all colleagues provide excellent standards of care

  • Promote a positive safeguarding and learning culture

  • Ensure that all care plans are person-centred, reviewed and updated regularly

  • Maintain a profitable service by monitoring of cost control, effective use of resources, maintaining high occupancy levels, fee adjustments and effective budgeting

  • Ensure that the service achieves and remains compliant with regulatory standards and company policies and procedures

  • Ensure all members of staff have completed all mandatory and specialist training

  • Complete and achieve excellent outcomes from internal and external audits and inspections

  • Investigate any alleged misconduct, maltreatment or abuse reported in the service and take appropriate follow-up action

    Level 3 or 4 Residential Childcare

  • Level 5 Leadership and Management in Residential Care (or willingness to undertake)

  • Proven experience in a care management role, particularly in a children's service environment

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building positive relationships with residents, staff, and external stakeholders

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in child welfare and residential care

  • Ensure excellent knowledge of current policies, procedures and governance affective the affecting the service
