Full Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our children's home in Wakefield. In this key leadership role, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to children with complex needs. You will play a critical role in creating a nurturing and therapeutic environment where every child can thrive.,

  • Leadership & Management: Lead and manage a team of dedicated staff, fostering a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for children aged 8-18.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures, maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of learning and development within the team to enhance care quality.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments in consultation with children, young people, and professionals.
  • Staff Recruitment & Development: Participate in the recruitment, selection, and training of staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver high-quality care.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with directors to develop and implement strategies that enhance the service and meet all regulatory requirements.
