  • Current UK NMC registration, level 1.

  • Working towards Degree (desirable)

  • Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Experience of working with patients with multiple pathologies and developing and delivering care plans designed to meet their needs.

  • Appropriate short clinical skills e.g. venepuncture.(desirable)

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to maintain and improve standards of care.

  • Experience of resource management. (desirable)

  • Experience of a research audit (desirable)

  • Experience of audit.
  • Up to date knowledge of current clinical/professional issues.

  • Understanding or resource management.

  • Knowledge and understanding of learner needs.

  • Ability to travel between sites as needed, public transport is limited in the countryside, a full drivers licence and own vehicle/ access to suitable transport may be required for this position.

    Foxley Ward delivers quality and patient centred care within our 28 bedded unit providing rehabilitation to a wide group of patients with varying complexities of needs. The ward also provides palliative and end of life care . We welcome staff who will be open to learning new skills such as venepuncture, male and female catheterisation, ECG recording. The successful candidate will receive support and development through in service training, regular appraisals, personal development plan and clinical supervision.

    Foxley Ward is a 28 bedded unit providing rehabilitation to a wide group of patients with varying complexities of needs. Our patients come to us following medical, surgical or orthopaedic treatment or if appropriate, directly from their own homes.

  • Good opportunities exist for further training and development. You will receive support/development through in service training, regular appraisals and clinical supervision. This post involves rotation between day and night duties.
