As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible and accountable for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical and personal support to our customers as outlined Person Centred Plans. You will order and administer medication, ensure safe storage and record all information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines. Effectively leading a team of support staff, you will ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift. You will prioritise and plan, delegating relevant activities for the support team, ensuring the needs of our customers are met within a safe and caring environment. You will support ongoing assessments, observing any changes in health and well-being. You will ensure that records are maintained in a timely way and support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs and daily tasks.   • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
  • An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
  • Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.

    Days, part time 18 hours per week, shifts on a rota: 07.30 to 14.00 and 13.30 to 20.00 or long shift 07.30 to 20.00 (with half hour break). Seven Rivers is a care and nursing home set in seven acres of beautiful grounds in the small village of Great Bromley, and is home for 29 adults with physical disabilities. Due to the lack of public transport you will need to have access to transport, free car park is on-site, We would really love to hear from you if you have sound nursing skills, committed to a person-centred approach and an understanding of safeguarding requirements. Basic hourly rate - £19.94 per hour, up to £21.94 per hour with enhancement. A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday - Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday. We are amongst the highest rated providers of care and supported living services in the UK.
