We are excited to offer opportunities forband 5 registered nurses who want to join our team of nurses on our medical wards. We are looking for compassionate, committed, and highly enthusiastic nurses who are passionate about providing the best care possible to our patients. You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care programs under the indirect supervision of senior staff. You will work closely with the ward and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective care. Your role will be to support and contribute to the smooth running of our medical wards, ensuring high standards of patient care What We Offer:

  • Main duties of the job At the heart of everything we do is the commitment to ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. In turn, we are dedicated to providing you with the support and development opportunities you need to thrive in your career Deliver high standards of care to patients and be responsible for a patient for which you have been allocated. Care will be in keeping with the philosophies and operational policies of the Health Board. Act in such a manner to safeguard the interest of patients in your care. Follow the nursing process of assess, plan, implement and evaluate programme of care for patients considering their physical; psychological, social and spiritual needs. To escalate concerns about a patient's condition/deterioration to the most appropriate professional. Be aware of the legal requirement concerning the prescribing, control, security and administration of medication. Ability to delegate tasks to a range of staff. Awareness of Deprivation of Liberty safeguards, Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act and the ability to raise safeguarding concerns as appropriate.

    The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
