The role involves peg feeding, oral suctioning, oxygen therapy, medication administration, and cough assist. The nurse should be someone who loves suctioning, can peg feed, and provides lots of love, cuddles, and cognitive stimulation to the child. They should be in tune with the child's needs and able to recognize when he needs space or educational fun.
