We are experienced in the support of the role as this will be our 2nd RNA on the ward. The ward is 28 beds female sub acute medical and rehabilitation with a high emphasis on discharge planning and complex patients. We pride ourselves on always achieving high standards of care and feedback including an Excellent for our end of life care in a CQC inspection. As part of an NHS parliamentary award winning team you will be making a positive impact on patient care and staff support, As a Registered Nurse Associate you will be hands on supporting the patients in their day to day care and clinical needs. You will be supported by a band 5 and above at all times due to the high level of staffing numbers per shift. The strong multidisciplinary team on the ward supports the patients in goal setting and discharge journey
The role includes care delivery, clinical needs, supporting students and other staff,reviewing care plans/goals and identifying changing needs of the patients, You will also be supporting Student Nurse Associates in their journey, For more information please see the attached 'Additional Information for Applicants' document.
Salary Update
With effect from 1 April 2024, there is a 5.5 per cent consolidated uplift for all Agenda for Change (AfC) staff on NHS terms and conditions. This may change the salary that is advertised on this advert.
The national NHS Employers team are working through the processes required to implement the recently announced new Agenda for Change pay award for 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025. The related national Pay Advisory Notice (which confirms the details including dates) is yet to be issued to employers.
