We are recruiting for enthusiastic and highly skilled Registered Nurses for our Eating Disorder Service

Lotus Ward is a ten bedded, mixed gendered, specialist eating disorder unit that runs a diverse therapy programme. We are dedicated to providing personalized anorexia treatment, support and therapy. Patients admitted to the ward for treatment will primarily have a diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa but may have co-morbid mental or physical health conditions such as Autism, PTSD or Personality Disorders. The MDT work in collaboration together to create a personalised treatment plan for all patients.

The focus of our unit is to help patients recover from their eating disorders and gradually get them back into healthy eating behaviours and to be able to have a good relationship with food and their weight.

Registered nurse with active NMC PIN with 12 months post qualifying experience
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practise

Previous experience of working in a Eating Disorder setting would be preferred however not necessary. The post will offer successful candidates with a real opportunity for personal and professional development with specialised training in Eating Disorders and enteral feeding including Naso Gastric Tube feeding and venepuncture.

Bristol Hospital is rated 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) the Grade II listed hospital building is set in extensive grounds in the suburb Stapleton, just off the M32 and less than three miles from the centre of Bristol with free parking onsite.
