Registered Nurse - Mental Health

What you'll beresponsible for :

• You will be involved in providing a highlevel of safe and effective care


• Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementationand evaluation of care


• Adhere to all Trust policies, procedures andguidelines


• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team


• Provide mentorship and support to others


• The role will involve, butnot be limited to you performing the above., Being a general nurse in the NHS is a versatile and impactful role that spans across various healthcare settings, from hospitals to community clinics.


It involves providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.

The flexibility in scheduling allows general nurses to balance their professional responsibilities with personal commitments, ensuring they can deliver compassionate and effective care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions


• Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests


• Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations


• Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships


The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

• A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Mental hospital environment within the last 3 years


• Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices


• Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills., A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Mental Health Hospital environment within the last 3 years, Degree / Diploma in Nursing
