An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2x Registered Nursing Associates to work within theCrisis Resolution & Home Treatment Team.

We are an fast-paced, exciting service within the Urgent Care Pathway in LPT. We work closely with the rest of the pathway and wider mental health services. We aim to treat those who would otherwise normally require hospital admission for a an acute psychiatric crisis.Support is provided to whole of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland across a 24/7 roster.

We recognise the importance of holistic care, and the role Nursing Associates can provide with their cross-discipline training.

We provide regular supervisions and training sessions to our staff to ensure support and development is in place., As a Registered Nursing Associate, you will contribute towards the ongoing assessments and treatment of the team caseload. This includes monitoring changes in mental state and risks.

You will work as part of a wider MDT, where youwill escalate care accordingly. You will also providesupport to our unregistered clinicians in the team.

You will be expected to provide low-level psychological interventions, such as anxiety managementand sleep hygiene.

Treatment is provided in multiple locations, including patient homes, healthcare settings, as well as telephone support. So access to a car is a vital aspect of the role (public transport is not suitable).

We provide various training opportunities, includingbut not limited to,Decider Skills, Venepuncture Training, ECG Training, Risk Assessment and much more.

You are expected to work in line with the NMC Code, as well as trust standards., working patterns in line with our flexible working policy. For all substantive roles, new staff (excluding medical staff) are appointed subject to a 6-month probationary period (see Probation Policy). All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.
