Full Job Description

Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to develop or lead Nurse Clinics? Or do you have an interest in small furries? Are you looking to pursue a Certificate? If so, look no further; our practice in Bury St Edmunds has the perfect opportunity for you. Ana Xavier, our Partner and Vet, is looking for a warm, confident RVN to join the team, and we're waiting to hear from you. About us: We are located inside the busy Pets at Home store at Moreton Hall Retail Park where free, onsite parking is available. The practice is purpose built and is fully equipped with a full state of the art IDEXX lab (haematology, biochemistry, cortisol, T4, fructosamine and bile acids), capnography, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximeter, v-gel and separate dog and cat wards. The team see a wide variety of cases with approx. 10% small furries, 45% cats and 45% dogs; a high proportion of these are insured clients. The team is experienced and established with very low staff turnover, comprising 2.5 Vets, 3 Registered Nurses, and a non-clinical team. Performing acupuncture and orthopaedics onsite, in addition to holding certificates in small animal internal medicine, you can expect to be involved in a varied caseload. We are flexible in our rota offerings, however would be looking for somebody to work between 16-24 hours per week (split across 8 hour shifts or 5 hour shifts). You will work 1:4 Saturdays on a rota basis, we work bank holidays but these are shared evenly between our Nurses.
