Full Job Description

  • The primary purpose of the position is to provide patient management supervision in the ambulatory setting of Cancer Care Services. This role will provide medical oncology services within the program of Cancer Care Services.
  • Provide support for Medical Oncology patients in the Day Oncology Unit. Provide consultation services to clinical areas within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. Participate in ward rounds, clinics and meetings and undertake other clinical duties as required. Will be under the supervision of a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist (Medical Oncology).

    You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $175,370 p.a., comprising salary between $129,583 - $150,240 p.a., (L4-L9) employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%) and vocational training subsidy, (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
